Job Description and Requirements
Nurses for Australia (Updated Information):
Our company has signed an agreement with one of the renowned university in Australia to run bridging courses for nurses to be registered as a nurse in Australia, and switching the visa to work in the country. Australia is currently moving towards federal registration for nurses, this allowed the nurse to move from one state to another using the same registration.
There is one course available at the university depending on the English Level (IELTS) that you will obtained, the nursing board of Victoria will assess your qualification and clarify which level are you able to do.
Applicants must be:
1- Board passer
2- IELTS (Must be 7 in all bands)
3- At Least 2 years experience
Orientation conducted every day at 2 pm Monday to Saturday
All nurses must have IELTS of 7 in all bands, please do not apply unless you have IETLS certificate.
INITIAL REGISTRATION FOR OVERSEAS NURSES (IRON) COURSE
IRON leads to registration as a Division 1 Nurse in Victoria. Entry into these Programs is extremely competitive. Numbers of places offered directly relate to availability of clinical places and therefore a place cannot be guaranteed.
Entry Method
Via direct application to the RTP/IRON
It is referred to as:‘Non-award Programs’
To be considered for entry into the IRON via Method, applicants are required to provide:
PRCOURSE FOR OVERSEAS QUALIFIED NURSES [PPOQN]
Ø A letter from the Nurses Board Victoria (NBV) stating eligibility to undertake an initial registration course
Ø Evidence of English proficiency for this course (Overall IELTS of at least 7.0: A score of at least Seven (7.0) in all four components of IELTS)
Ø Meet other selection requirements, such as a telephone/face to face interview.
Ø Evidence of immunizations as listed at the time of application and on the Health Victoria website:
Fees Structure:
Ø 10,000.00 $AUD paid directly to the University (fully refundable if visa will no be granted), we are in negotiation to prepare if you may possible pay 25% of the fees and the rest will be by installment upon arrival in Australia.
Ø Registration with Nursing Board of Victoria will cost $145
Ø Visa application will be costing $450AUD
Ø The show money when applying for the visa will be 1500.00 $AUD / month
Ø Our Immigration fees and service charge will be assesst at the time of the your application
Please Note:
1. That this is not a job offer, it is student visa that allow you to transfer the visa into employer sponsorship visa upon obtaining the full registration, and once the sponsorship is found
2. It is better that you invest in IELTS 7 than taken longer time and double the cost of course if you opt to use your IELTS 6 or 6.5 result to enroll for the course
3. As student you are legally allowed to work only 20 hours / week, the payment can range from 10-25 $AUD / hour depending on your position if you work in McDonald or as nursing Aid
4. Once the visa is granted the Embassy will ask for $AUD450
